3D PLUS is a global leader in high-reliability microelectronic solutions for space, defense, and aerospace applications. We are seeking a Junior Regional Sales Manager with 5–10 years of experience to support and grow our business in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD, VA, DC, DE, NJ, EPA, Metro NY). This role is ideal for a technically oriented sales professional who thrives in customer engagement and wants to make an impact in the space and aerospace markets.

Future Growth:
This position is expected to expand over time to include additional territories currently managed by senior leadership, such as:

  • Midwest: IL, MI, IN, KY, NE, IA, MN, ND, SD, MO, KS, OH, WPA, WI
  • Canada
  • New England and Upstate NY
  • Southeast: TN, NC, SC, AL, GA, MS, FL

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on space and aerospace customers.
  • Drive sales of advanced semiconductors, memory solutions, power and protection solutions, and camera heads/camera systems for space applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including BAE Systems, NASA, JHU-APL, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, and Lockheed Martin.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to engineering and procurement teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to regional growth strategy.
  • Travel up to 50% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree (Electrical Engineering or related field) OR successful history of technical sales in semiconductor, aerospace, or defense markets.
  • 5–10 years of experience in technical sales within semiconductor, aerospace, or defense markets.
  • Proven track record of sales success and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with space-grade components and high-reliability electronics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Existing relationships or familiarity with key accounts: BAE Systems, NASA, JHU-APL, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin.
  • Understanding of space mission requirements and radiation-hardened semiconductor technologies.
  • Knowledge of quality standards for hybrid microcircuits and high-reliability modules, including:
    • MIL-PRF-38534 – U.S. Military Performance Specification for hybrid microcircuits, defining design, screening, and reliability requirements for aerospace and defense applications.
    • ECSS-Q-ST-60-05C – European space standard for hybrid microcircuits, covering quality assurance, screening, and qualification for space missions.
