Founded in 1995 in Buc - Versailles Grand Parc, France, 3D PLUS has become in a short time a world reference in the field of space microelectronic components. By combining advanced microelectronic design with 3D interconnect technology allowing extreme miniaturization; our engineers have enabled our customers to increase the performance and competitiveness of their systems, and to achieve the space missions they have imagined.

Associated with the main players in the global space industry, numerous firsts have been achieved with 3D PLUS electronic modules, entirely designed and manufactured in France:

• First 2 Gb Space NAND Flash memory for the Pluto New Horizon exploration mission in 2006 with NASA/JPL
• Landing and taking pictures on a comet with Philae / Rosetta in 2011 with ESA and CNES
• Landing on the Moon in 2018 with the Chinese Chang’E missions
• Landing of the Curiosity and Perseverance rovers on Mars in 2012 and 2021 with NASA/JPL

As a high-tech company, 3D PLUS’ development is based on its unique know-how and patents that underly several innovations in the fields of 3D electronic interconnection, miniaturization technologies, thermal management and protection against the effects of space radiation.

Aware of the challenges related to the environment, and concerned about the role we must play in our ecosystem, 3D PLUS has initiated its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach in 2021 to meet the challenges of sustainable development of its activities, for its customers, with the involvement of its employees and its partners.

• Participate in the construction of the Lunar Orbital Station and the return of man to the Moon – NASA Artemis program
• Contribute to the measurement of atmospheric CO2 from space in order to verify the commitments made against global warming – ESA CO2 Monitoring Mission (CO2M).
