The Radiation Tolerant Intelligent Memory Stack (RTIMS Flash) is a high density, user-friendly, off-the-shelf NAND Flash memory. This non-volatile memory, radiation-protected by design, is suitable for all space applications and can be used as a stand alone small local data recorder
The memory module integrates a high-density NAND flash memory and a flash memory controller (FMC). The FMC provides the module with full protection against radiation effects such as SEL, SEFI and SEU. It also offers continuous logic sectors (no bad blocks) and high-value features such as wear leveling, memory self-test, internal registers for telemetry information.

3D PLUS is releasing a new version of this family line: 3DSS64G08US2818, an extension of the former 3DSS8G08VS3626 while offering some improved features:

  • 4 x density of protected NAND Flash (32 Gbit vs 8 Gbit)
  • Deep down power mode for low power
  • Synchronous mode supported in addition to the aynchronous
  • Higher bandwidth (at least x2): 195 Mbit/s (write), 617 Mbit/s (read)
  • Wider operating temperature range [-55 °C; +105°]
  • The first enginering models of 3DSS64G08US2818 will be available by Q4’2023.
