ARTEMIS I

WE ARE GOING TO THE MOON

Artemis I is the first chapter in the new space race, a chapter named Moon.

The launch of Artemis I on November 16, 2022, by the NASA marks the beginning in a series of complex missions that will enable human exploration to the Moon.

The objective of Artemis I is to demonstrate the performance of the SLS rocket and test Orion’s capabilities over the course of about 42 days as it travels about 40,000 miles beyond the Moon and back to Earth.

ORION Spacecraft

An uncrewed Orion will venture thousands of miles beyond the Moon over the course of about six weeks.

In the future missions, it will serve as the exploration vehicle that will carry and sustain the crew to space, and provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocities.
