3D PLUS has more than 210,000 microelectronics components in space, and more than 25 years of flight heritage with no reported failure. Our Flight Heritage is expanding continuously with products launched in Space every month in LEO, MEO and GEO orbits, for deep space exploration missions, for satellite constellation fleets, and for governmental missions in Europe, America, and Asia. Our Flagship missions include Mars 2020, Mars Science Laboratory, Rosetta, New Horizons, Juno, OneWeb, AlphaSat, Sentinel, Ariane 5, ISS, Parker Solar Probe, Insight, and many more.
On November 18, 2025, at Space Tech Expo in Bremen, Pierre-Eric Berthet, CEO of 3D PLUS, presented the ASTERIA space camera. With this latest innovation, 3D PLUS continues to expand its space camera portfolio. This development reflects the company’s focus on creating compact, high-performance imaging solutions for space applications.
ASTERIA embodies the next generation of compact, space-qualified cameras from 3D PLUS, aiming to reach “10x” improvements on most critical aspects of space hardware. Designed with this target in mind, its architecture combines a high-resolution image sensor with advanced electronics, delivering strong imaging performance while optimizing SWaP-C (size, weight, power, and cost). This allows system integrators to greatly enhance their missions capabilities without compromising its budget. ASTERIA is built to answers the needs of exploration, surveillance, observation, and scientific missions, operating in low Earth orbit, deep space, and other challenging environments.
With ASTERIA, 3D PLUS reaffirms its leadership in advanced, radiation-tolerant imaging systems and continues to support the space community with innovative, mission-ready solutions.
